NAATYOTSAV : THEATRE SOCIETY

Our Vision

The college theatrical society envisions being a dynamic and impactful creative environment that fosters artistic creativity, cultural exchange, and social interaction among students. It aims to foster a lifetime appreciation for theatre by promoting innovation, excellence, and experimentation, utilising performance as a potent vehicle to reflect society, challenge norms, and celebrate various voices. The society aims to cultivate socially aware individuals via continuous learning, collaboration, and outreach, thereby enhancing the arts and enriching the cultural scene both within and without the college.

  • Cultural Preservation and Promotion: The society seeks to preserve and develop theatre culture in the college.
  • Artistic Rejuvenation: Naatyotsav provides a wonderful opportunity to the students of Lloyd to collaborate and perform (in Nukkad Naataks/ Street Plays and Stage Plays), with the goal of promoting theatre among the general public.
  • Educational Outreach: Theatre is a means of fostering emerging talent and guaranteeing that play remains "timeless" as a form of artistic expression.
  • Creative Storytelling: The goal of performing plays on various socio-cultural issues is to transform the stage into a "canvas" where art is brought to life. It’s storytelling in a creative way which depicts such issues in an innovatively crafted manner.
